Impact 100 Selects 2008 Grant Recipients, Cincinnati, OH – September 18th, 2008 – Impact 100 selected the recipients of this year’s grants at their annual awards celebration held at Cincinnati Memorial Hall. Congratulations to IKRON and Freestore/Foodbank. They will each receive a grant of $111,000.

For every one hundred members, Impact 100 gives a grant of at least $100,000. In 2008, there were 222 full memberships and 272 Impact 100 members. The total dollars granted since 2002 to non-profit organizations in the Greater Cincinnati community exceeds $1.4 million.

Membership recruitment for the 2009 year is in full swing and is open to all women in the Greater Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area. Member donations are pooled and 100% of the member donation is awarded to worthy community not-for-profit organizations at the Awards Celebration. Member deadline for 2009 voting rights is December 31st.
